wotreplays.org: The end of 2013 and 2014 Roadmap
It’s been a month or two since things got back on track, and in that time not too many exciting things have happened, but that’s about to change! (Hurray)
Currently the roadmap for the next few months is as follows:
- An overhaul of the codebase; the current one works but is crufty as all heck, and really needs to be cleaned up and redone. This will take a fair amount of time, and will be the first thing that will be done soon(tm).
- The above also means that we’ll have our own API, which means that you are free to develop tools or sites that use the data on wotreplays.org for it’s own purposes.
There are also a few new projects coming that are somewhat related to wotreplays.org:
wotr.me – An URL shortener that’ll be used to handle all links to replays; just a custom domain on top of bit.ly’s API
statterbox.com – Yet another stats tracking site, however it combines WoT API stats together with stats gathered from your replays to go into great detail
