From the discussion: - implementing realistic transmission/engine damage (reduced tank mobility, much slower speed etc.) would result in very boring gameplay - regarding the size of the client: “we don’t plan a 100GB client for now” - removing three maps you don’t want to play from your map list? Storm: “It increases the queue waiting time. During then times when few people are online (night or lowpopulation servers), the waiting time could ïncrease critically. That’s why we won’t do it.” - related to the question above: if the developers fix this by disabling the “removed maps option” after certain amount of time in the queue, players would whine that they drop into the maps even though they disabled it
