Hello everyone, player CptCav recently visited the Sakhalin island on his cruise from Hokkaido. There, in the Sakhalin regional museum in the port of Korsakov (Russia), stands a Type 95 Ha-Go, not exactly a common museum piece. He took a couple of photos of this vehicle, enjoy! The museum description of this vehicle says: This tank was used by the commander of the 4th Light Tank Company, a part of the 11th Tank Regiment, located on the Shumshu island. The tank was knocked out by Soviet anti-tank rifle fire during the Kurile Landing Operation on 18th of August, 1945. It was moved from the battlefield and burned by its crew. The tank was moved from the Shumshu island to the city of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk by LLC “Kurilian Fisheries Company”, with is restoration made by JSC “Aurora” of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. It was installed in the museum yard on 1.9.2010.
